Updates

Here in Florida we have been really busy! We have been dancing dancing dancing. We have had lots of fun and met a lot of great people.

Larry and I are taking dance lessons for square dance, line dance, and ballroom. It is a blast.

I need to take some pictures soon!

Fun in Sunny Fl

yesterday at our campground - we had a nice picnic and then went to a dance! It was really cool to watch the square and line dancers.

larry and I will start taking lessons this coming week!

It was 79 degrees out today! We are wearing shorts and we even had to turn on the AC! :)

Day 6

We have quite the zoo down here!!!

There are crazy fire ants everywhere. You really have to watch where you walk.

There are armadillos here at the park.

A cougar has been spotted.

There are 10 ft. alligators that we were warned to watch for.

There are herrings as tall as me!

And............we heard coyotes last night!

Day 5

We did some looking around Frostproof and already made a trip to a Walmart and a Lowes.

Each was about 20 minutes away!

Larry is recovering from fire ant bites. He has welts all over him from when he put the jacks down. The "neighbors" around here are really nice and helped out.

We have heard in a nearby pond that there is an alligator!!!! A ten foot alligator!! The guy behind us (from Michigan) said to be carefully walking around with Winnie. OMG :)

There is also two herrings walking around. One if as tall as me! I was shocked and didn't know if it would attack Winnie or me.

In all of the little problems - one great thing is the weather. When we were at Walmart around 11:00 am - people were walking around in shorts! :) I had on a winter jacket! lol It was 65 degrees!

Day 4: Heading to Frostproof

We spent the whole day driving to Florida. Ran into a lot of traffic and construction. We crossed the Florida State line around 2 pm on Thursday and arrived in Frostproof around 5:30 or so.

Day 3: Mrytle Beach

We spent another day with Bill and Mary and toured around their neighborhood.
